Eporea

Busy Work

We made our way towards the fortification where we encountered our badly mauled compatriots. They had a nasty encounter with a hostile salad and were retreating to the gate. As Angus instead on leaving with them, we made our way out of the plane. In the real world, we met up with the adventuring groups, of which one was destroyed, and Ken-doll’s had cleared the fortification. We were also harassed by an inquisitive elf bitch.

The journey to Lord Bourbon was uneventful, and the prick seemed ungrateful to get his crown jewel back.

Back home, a Lord Bantu appeared with his entourage to destroy the Tear as it is supposed to cause horrible curse. In attempting to reposes the Tear for its destruction, we discovered it was missing and Bourbon and Angus were dead. Worst off all, my favorite brothel worker died while we were away.

Treasure Hoard?

Having finished resting we advance into the next chamber to face four golems. After their defeat we found a hidden room containing loot, the jewel, and a Chest of Largess. Some inscription regarding a soul being trapped in a box lead the bald one to insist we have to open it at some point. The other dwarf was most paranoid from the Terran inscription “What do you want?” that briefly appeared on the chest, and promptly bagged it.

Our elven friend took possession of the jewel and was made to confess that it is an heir loom of personal value to his friend, Lord Berwinsod, to whom he intends to return it and whom he believes not to have malicious intent with it. He also agreed to let us escort him to Lord Berwinsod and to accompany us on our exploration of the remaining landmark, barring encountering another exit bound party.

A Day in the Dark Tower

We were attacked by Coral Golems before we finished breaking through the outside wall. Thereafter we proceeded inside, through the front door, having cleansed a couple swarms through our impromptu opening. When we made our way to the top of the tower we found a and arcade device with an hour glass believed to control the portal with a two hour timer.

Once the top of the tower had been investigated, we descended it into a rancid tunnel, eventually reaching a chamber infested with a excrement construct. It eventually fled, unable to bear the brunt of our magic, but the damage was done. I had to touch the monk against his will to heal him and it took a blind eye and some encouragement from Peterson to do it.

Next we faced a trap chamber. When our rouge failed to disable half the traps, we burned our way out with acid and called it a night

Into the Land Entropy

The rest of out time waiting for the gate to open proved to be uneventful, save the destruction of an elephant drawn traveling shop, and our contact with Agus Pensrun, who had researched the matter and was pursuing a jewel called the Rotorex Tear.

Having entered the plane, we found it to be putrid and rotten. All parties that entered the gate split of in different directions. In the absence of navigational features, the dwarf arcane marked our path. Later, we came upon a settlement of native creatures, and with the help of potions and alcohol established a dialog. This proved helpful as the were able to identify the features on a diagram of this plane that Agus provided.

Thereafter, we set of to the dark tower and having beat off a killer plant and destroyed a golem, traversed the quicksand laden terrain. Having reached its base, the bald one attacked the wall to create an entry, while another’s familiar found a doorway at the top.

The Dorian Anomaly

At long last that tedium of peace is disturbed by a summon to an anomaly in Doira. We, among others, have gathered at the site of portal to unknown destination of no strong aliment. This gate is covered by a deteriorating barrier that no one present had been able to breech. The personage of note was a lawful neutral Lord Kendellon who brought his own party to the ends of exterminating whatever evil will breech or real and storming into its realm. The elf advised that we allow him to fall in battle, so me may claim credit. There was also a scantily clad female with a strong aura that did not prove talkative, but the back of a wagon bar I found her at proved adequate, for the bartender was friendly and the company chatty. Before retiring for the night, I had intimated whatever goblins I could find to prevent any potential damage to my tent.

Kaztan's training starts to flourish.
An epiphany shows itself in a explosive way

Having little interest in revolutions or leaders Kaztan finds a secluded place of study within the temple, moving all the furniture aside he sets the books and scrolls in front of him and sits on the floor. As he riffles through it all he finds interest in the magic used in combat and how the Qinggong style he’s studied before seem to mirror each other in small ways. After finding a spell that greatly resembles one of the Qinggong techniques he had studied before, attempted to cast it. Focusing on his center and pulling the energy through his body he concentrated all his might into a single point on his finger. This time though it felt different, more potent and unmanageable. Normally this is a simple technique used to strengthen martial blows but this time instead of transferring the energy into a corporeal object he attempted to expel it from his body, like the ancient texts had described. With a flash a beam of red hot fire exploded from his finger and crashed into the stone wall, then disappeared only leaving a large scorch mark. After a moment of shock and regaining his strength, Kaztan burst into a fit of laughter realizing he had finally achieved the first step towards his goal.

After discovering his new found ability he decided to quickly return the books and join the others to help speed things along. Being wise he knew this was only the beginning and needed to continue on this journey and fighting this war to hone his skills and discover new techniques. Even though the weariness he felt towards the friendliness and tomfoolery of his comrades continued to grow, especially the girl.

The Forgemaster's Bonds
Through red hot steel he forges futures, large and small.

Well fellow escapees, and new hunter, I have made a choice. One I hope you and I shall not regret. I shall throw my lot in with you, be the wise one that tears down this tyrannical army. The east shall fall. While I do have a little over a hundred years of experience in these lands, my skill with a bright burning flame is my greatest asset.

You has be the heart of my forge and I the bellower that keeps the flames burning bright. That being said, what talents bring you to this group. The more I know the faster we can overcome obstacles. I as mentioned a few times am a smith and a damn good one seeing as I had to travel almost two weeks to bring the gear your old leader had purchased. And I ain’t to shabby with a blade either. gives a wizened old smirk

Rotomur's Last Will

If you are reading this, then it can only be assumed that my time on this world has come to an end. I am proud to call myself a warrior, and I am proud of the warriors who I led in battle. I have one last quest for them. There is an old gristmill, just a few miles up river. This is where I have hidden away a small store of wealth. It was intended for my retirement, but alas, there was never a way I could ever let myself retire. I leave it to my team to recover the treasure and do with it what they like. There’s only one item they must hold on to. There is a sword that was given to me by my grandfather. He told me that it was to be held for the King who will restore harmony to the Divided Kingdom. Keep it safe.

The Tenolvian Crown: An Introduction
Proceeding The Threat of Degorma Chronicle

There was a time, not all too long ago, where evil had a foot in the land of Eporea. Incidents involving demons and devils and monsters were reported from throughout the land. King Laritann of Halremethia took action and formed the Silent Wing, a special task force under command of Captain Stardens, created to keep these occurrences under control. Among these warriors was Gwen Van Allen, the future saint.

Insisting to be part of the solution, King Norand Raldemus, ruler of the allied Kingdom to the North, Malgenia, insisted to contribute two of his finest warriors, his children Rodilynn and Rothan Raldemus. His third child, Aldain, chose to stay behind and watch over his family. Soon later, he and his family went missing.

The deity named Balregott knew an ancient devil was on his way back to this plane, and recruited the Silent Wing to aide him. The group was even exiled from Halremethia, temporarily, until King Laritann had died. But at that time, they gained a new named, though unofficial, they will be known to only a few in history as Balregott’s Heroes.

The Kingdom of Tenolvia was in civil war, creating strife and war for creatures of evil to strive in. In the following months, three Kings were dead, including Laritann and Raldemus. The group traveled around the land, and banished several fiends. They even destroyed a few, entirely. They traveled across Eporea and into other planes during their quest.

The wars of devils and men were being found on the same fronts. Treaties were broken, allegiances formed, relationships damaged, heroes killed. Among the fatalities was Rothan. The war in Tenolvia was escalating. The deity, Sepporus, was banished from the material plane. Aldain’s son, Kardell took the Malgenian Crown.

But an ancient devil lord named Degorma was summoned, and he was about to turn the world into his own domain. Before he could get to his full power, his essence was sealed by Saint Gweneth. And after one final battle, four more devil generals were destroyed. With the overseers gone, most other devils occupying Eporea returned to their home plane.

The Threat of Degorma had passed. The Tenolvian Civil War had divided the Kingdom in four. Each unstable territory had diminished its military to the point where the war had to come to an end. A new King was crowned in Halremethia.

Sixty-one years have passed, and the wounds of an era have not entirely healed. Kings have ruled and died, and passed the crown to the next in line. The heroes of the time, who fought valiantly for a king, a deity, a virtue, or their own gain, have left this world. This is the beginning of a new era, an age of new heroes, a new chronicle in history.
